Governments
around the world are struggling with fundamental
changes in the way they work. They are seeking
ways to provide better services for citizens and
improve the climate for business growth at a time
of growing pressure for flat or reduced taxation.
Developed nations want to reduce costs and improve
efficiencies; developing nations want to deliver
new services without creating huge bureaucracies
or costs.

All
nations are trying to create the infrastructure
and business climate to succeed in today’s world
markets. As many countries have already discovered,
a solid technology infrastructure can play a significant
role in helping governments deliver a comprehensive
set of services to citizens, support business
growth, attract outside investment, improve education,
increase operating efficiencies and reduce costs.
The
concept of good governance and a vision to bring
technology to the common man has prompted COMPUSOL
to explore the deep woods of governance as a whole.
This whole concept and our zeal to improve the
basic infrastructure in Indian villages primarily
has led us to fully computerize the first Village
administration in India and thus make us pioneers
in the field of e-governance.
With a lot of support from various members of
the governing bodies and Mr. U. R. Sabhapathi, a
member of the Legislative Assembly in the Government
of Karnataka, we have been able to achieve many
a milestone in our quest for service. Apart from
computerizing the first Village Administration,
we also have the credit of having fully computerized
the Municipal Administration and Taluka Panchayath
Administration in Udupi District of Karnataka.
